Dr. Moses Onyoin

Dr. Moses Onyoin is a scholar-practitioner who is the Director and Head of Advisory at CITS, where he leads the development and implementation of strategic goals, oversees partner acquisitions, manages partner projects and assignments, and ensures smooth daily operations. With extensive academic and managerial experience in development, humanitarian and other sectors, he combines operational expertise with strategic insight to drive the organization’s growth and amplify CITS’ impactful support to partners. A seasoned organizational development and programme management specialist, Dr. Onyoin holds a Ph.D. in Management from University of Hull in the United Kingdom, a post-doctoral from Telfer School of Management at University of Ottawa in Canada, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Makerere University in Uganda. With over 17 years of experience working in developed and developing countries in academic research, teaching and professional management, at CITS he specializes in supporting partners in (re)designing and implementing development and humanitarian projects, undertaking programme and project audits, building and implementing learning partnerships, project leadership development. He also facilitates evidence generation and use as well as in capturing and sharing of best and promising practices. He combines his advisory work at CITS with teaching and research interests in Universities in Germany, UK, Canada and Uganda.

Masese Akisoferi Wesonga

Masese Akisoferi Wesonga is a professional with over 20 years of experience in providing strategic guidance, technical support, and training to enhance organizational development, governance, and program delivery within partner organizations. He currently serves as the Technical Lead - Institutional Development (IDS), where he oversees the design, implementation, and management of programs aimed at strengthening the capacity and institutional effectiveness of civil society organizations. Wesonga holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration specializing in Human Resource Management from IASED University, India. Since 2006, he has made significant academic contributions as a lecturer at leading institutions, including Makerere University Business School, the Islamic University in Uganda, and Uganda Martyrs University Nkozi. With a career spanning over two decades, Wesonga’s consultancy expertise in organizational development, program leadership, and knowledge management has been sought by numerous local and international organizations. He has collaborated with institutions such as the Lutheran World Federation Uganda, Justice Defenders, War Child, UNHCR, Windle International- Uganda, Uganda Medical Stores, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, and Makerere University Rotary Peace Centre. His work also extends to organizations like Nilepet South Sudan, SNV Uganda, the Rural Energy Agency of Tanzania, Lilongwe Water Board, and various ministries and regulatory authorities across Africa. Wesonga’s extensive experience underscores his commitment to driving excellence in institutional development and capacity building within the civil society sector.
